The right party venue for any occasion
Whether you're celebrating a milestone birthday, a confirmation, an anniversary or simply throwing a good party, the right room makes a big difference. Think about the atmosphere you want, the number of guests and how much you want to handle yourself. Some party venues are hired "bare", so you arrange the food and decorations, while others offer all-in-one with menu, bar and staff.
Choose by space and layout
- Capacity: there must be room for tables, a buffet and a dance floor — count on plenty of space per guest.
- Self-catering: check whether you may bring your own food and drink, or whether catering is fixed.
- Kitchen and facilities: access to a kitchen, tableware, sound and a cloakroom make the practical side easier.
- Accommodation: if guests need to stay overnight, filter by "Accommodation".
How big should the room be?
A good rule of thumb is about 1.5–2 m² per guest for a seated dinner and 2–2.5 m² per guest if you also want a dance floor and bar. If you know the headcount, go straight to venues for 50 guests or 100 guests.
